In 2011 I found what I was most passionate about. Production! I started behind a computer, rotating through presentation slides for my church, but quickly evolved that love to directing full live productions, and events, but we’ll come back to that in a bit! I had developed a love for these cool, big cameras and tech equipment used in the industry and I would spend hours just looking into how things were done and made in my favorite tv shows and films. Eventually, I got the chance to use some small cinema cameras at my church and knew from then on, this is what I wanted to be doing.

From there, I started to learn how to use and edit in Premiere Pro and After Effects and quickly was able to put together some of my first produced videos for my church to use. During my learning of post-production, I got heavily involved in live broadcast production. I would spend almost every weekend I could volunteering behind the camera. Not too long after I got picked up by one of the largest churches in Texas (Fellowship Church) and set out to create social media video for them along with assisting in their weekly service broadcasts.

During my time at Fellowship, I got to work on some amazing projects and had a great time learning how to tell a story through shooting and editing. Eventually, I decided to go my own way start on the foundation of Green Focus Media!

Nowadays I work freelance for companies and myself as a camera op, video producer, live director… You name it, I’ve probably done it! I’ve gotten the experience of directing a full day live stream for an esports event, worked as a camera op in massive, packed sports stadiums, and create community impacting videos for some of my favorite local businesses.

Having worked in social media video for over 3 years and working in general production for over 10 years, I saw the potential I held and created Green Focus Media to fulfill my dreams of working behind the camera!
